From a diminutive Champ to the mighty SVT, tube guitar amplifiers are still a major part of much
of todays music. I understand the bond between an artist and their tools.
Everyone knows finding your "sound" is a very personal, time consuming endeavor. To help
achieve this, a builder has to listen to, understand, and work with the player to try to capture
the intangible thing called tone being heard inside their head . There is no "one size fits all"
when it comes to amps. If you're considering looking for a new amp, I'd like to hear from you
and see if there's a way I can help you. We can discuss the many options that are possible
when creating an amplifier. You're the boss!
I embedded a shockwave flash player here so you can hear a sample of some of my major
influences. The songs on the list represent the various sounds that define the word "tone" to
me. Neil Young's Tweed Deluxe on the edge of destruction. Danzig's beautiful Marshally grind.
Tools definitive bass riffage. Of course you can't forget Jimi,  Gilmour and all the rest. The
legendary sound of the great musicians will never be forgotten.
Take a few minutes and listen
to them, especially through a good set of headphones. Listen to The Bomber by the James
Gang, and imagine that that huge sound came from (allegedly) a Tweed Champ.
